Our customers are in absolute power over their coffee roasting process with the choice between three roasting options: 10% drum and 90% fluid-bed, 50% drum and 50% fluid-bed, or 70% drum and 30% fluid-bed. Roasters have total control over heat transfer application with customizations available for the airflow and drum blades. From 2mm drum blades to accumulate less heat with more airflow to 6mm drum blades to accumulate more heat with less airflow, shipment sets included with the roaster are replaceable with drum blades of various thickness. With complete dominion over all aspects of the roasting process, customers can achieve their perfect bean color and consistency.

A full-fledged cyclone integrated into the roaster!
The new Typhoon hybrid includes an external cyclone to effectively cleanse the air of chaff and supply clean air for the next roast. You can roast non-stop, without destoning coffee after it is dropped to the cooling table, with batches perfectly clear of any admixtures. Rubbish disposal is collected in a bin under the external cyclen every 15 roasts.

Airflow control
This function allows the user to maintain full control over airflow throughout every stage of roasting, resulting in maximum consistency during heat transfer. All parameters are saved to the history log and can be reloaded for following roasts.

Quick cooling
After a roast is ready, it’s important to quickly stop the pyrolysis process and discharge the coffee to avoid any baked flavors. Typhoon roasters cool the batch in as little as 2 to 2.5 minutes.

Modular air heating
A smooth regulatory heating system is crucial for quality and consistency during roasting. Therefore, our machines have modular PID-regulated tubular electric heaters installed.

Air exchange regulation
Typhoon roasters are constructed to provide a fresh air supply and efficiently outtake smoke to and from the roasting area. As is key to proper coffee roasting, baked and smoky flavors are prevented this way.

Automatic control
Typhoon roasters are fully controlled by the roasting profile software “Typhoon profile system 3.0”. This program allows you to create roasting profiles, choose one from the history log, monitor the current parameters. The software provides everything you need for professional coffee roasting.
