Manhattan Coffee Roasters is a specialty coffee roaster based in Rotterdam, founded by Ben Morrow and Esther Maasdam — long-time coffee industry professionals. The name was inspired by Rotterdam's history as a major harbor city and the Holland America Line that sailed between Rotterdam and New York, earning Rotterdam the nickname "Manhattan aan de Maas."

The team is dedicated to bringing the flavor of origin into the final cup, sourcing ethically and sustainably from producers and traders who share their vision to push boundaries and propel the coffee industry forward.
