We have been working with the Typhoon Roaster for a year now and we can’t praise it enough. We own a 10kg hybrid version on electricity. It roasts evenly, consistently and fairly quickly. I also like the wide variance of roasting.
While it’s not entirely easy and takes a while to get the hang of it, you can roast even 2kg samples on it though of course a full 10kg batch is usually more ideal. The roaster has a fine design and groundbreaking technology that is easily distinguishable from the competition. The service and advice is also of a very good standard and the company tries to be as helpful as possible.

For me, coffee is a speciality, and I wanted to implement a new approach towards coffee making and roasting. We really love the consistency of the batches we roast and the software.
What we don’t like about our roaster, is that sometimes 2.5kg capacity is too small, but we working on it. 5kg roaster is the next big upgrade in Our roastery.
Heating the roaster takes only 30’, so That’s a big plus.
Between batch protocol is also very fast.
